Legal Notice

Waterheaterhistory.com

Last updated: September 3, 2026

This Legal Notice covers who operates the Site, copyright, trademarks, and how to send a DMCA notice. Use of the Site is also governed by the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Disclosure.

Operator

waterheaterhistory.com (the “Site”) is operated by Baysinger, LLC (“Water Heater History,” “we,” “us,” “our”).

Alternate names: Water Heater History; waterheaterhistory.com.

Contact: info@waterheaterhistory.com

https://www.waterheaterhistory.com/contact

Copyright

Unless a page says otherwise, original text, organization, design, logos, and compilation of the Site are protected by U.S. copyright and owned by Baysinger, LLC or its licensors.

You may:

  • Read the Site

  • Print or download pages for personal, non-commercial use

  • Quote brief excerpts for non-commercial education or research, with credit: page title, “Waterheaterhistory.com,” and a link to the original URL

You may not copy, scrape, republish, or commercially reuse substantial portions of the Site without prior written permission. See the Terms of Use for the full rules.

Trademarks

“Waterheaterhistory.com,” “Water Heater History,” and related logos are identifiers of Baysinger, LLC.

Other names on the Site — including Ruud, Rheem, Bradford White, Navien, Rinnai, Noritz, American Standard, and others — are trademarks of their owners. They appear to identify historical or current products. That is not a claim of affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement unless a partner listing says so.

Patents, museums, and third-party images

Some photographs, drawings, and documents come from patents, catalogs, museum collections, Heritage Partners, or equipment documented in the field. Those materials remain the property of their owners, or they are in the public domain, as the case may be.

A patent number, museum credit, or field photograph on the Site does not transfer copyright in the image or in the object.

No professional advice

The Site is educational. It is not plumbing, engineering, medical, legal, or other professional advice. Historical systems and pages on temperature, bacteria, codes, or safety must not be used as a modern installation or treatment plan. Details are in the Terms of Use.

Notice: Copyright / DMCA Policy

Water Heater History respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with U.S. copyright law. Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) (“DMCA”), we respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that meet the statutory requirements.

If you believe material on waterheaterhistory.com infringes your copyright, send a written DMCA notice to our designated Copyright Agent.

  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works on this website are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works

  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (for example, the specific URL or page title and a description of the content)

  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address, so that we may contact you

  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law

  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed

The same designation should be registered with the U.S. Copyright Office DMCA directory: copyright.gov/dmca-directory.

Incomplete notices may not be processed. After a valid notice, we will expeditiously remove or disable access to the material. We may notify the person who posted it, if applicable, and tell them how to send a counter-notification.

Counter-notification

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a written counter-notification to the same agent. It must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature

  • Identification of the material removed and the location where it appeared before removal

  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification

  • Your name, address, and telephone number

  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or for Arizona if you are outside the United States), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice, or that person’s agent

We may restore the material if the law allows.
